LAMBSDORFF & LANGE

is an internationally established patent law firm based in Munich, Germany. We are working for German clients and firms from abroad with about an equal share.

Our main field of activity is the preparation of patent applications and their filing and prosecution at the national and international Offices. It is our daily practice to prepare patent applications in English language which are specifically tailored to the legal requirements in the most important jurisdictions (Europe/Germany, USA, Japan, China).

We have many years of experience in representing and supporting our clients in invalidation actions and infringement proceedings before German courts. Our scope of activities also covers the filing of trade mark and design applications and representing our clients in trade mark and design registration and opposition proceedings.

We advise and represent a spectrum of clients ranging from Start-Ups and mid-size businesses to internationally operating major corporations. We offer to provide our clients with an individual form of cooperation customized to meet their specific needs and wishes. This includes web portal-based communication with company’s IP departments, availability of encrypted correspondence and standardized reporting based on the preferences of the client.

Our priority goal remains to ensure our legal advice is at its highest quality and effectiveness. We therefore demand high standards with regard to professional experience, academic qualification and commitment of each individual in our team.

HISTORY

L&L was founded in 1996 in Schwabing (Munich) by Dr. Matthias Graf Lambsdorff. In the following year Dr. Thomas Lange joined the law firm, which has been operating under the name Lambsdorff & Lange since then.

In 2000 L&L moved to a larger office in the eastern part of Munich conveniently situated next to the “Mittlerer Ring” (B2R) and near the train station Munich East (Ostbahnhof).

In 2010 Dr. Stefan Rohra joined L&L as a partner.

In 2019 Dr. Tobias Stögbauer was appointed partner of L&L.

The firm has developed continuously since its foundation to an internationally recognized and highly specialized IP law firm. L&L is headed by 4 partners today and includes a staff of about 15 professionals.
